Lara has a deep love for flowers.
Whether she is drawing them, growing them, or making beautiful bouquets, flowers are a staple element of her life!
Lara has been drawing flowers, carving stamps, and making cards and journals to sell at local art shows for several years. In 2018, Lara’s husband, Dave, built her a studio in the basement and two 8-foot beds for her to start a garden.
In 2019-2020, when life got crazy, teaching got really crazy! Dave encouraged Lara to dive into her art as a means of reset from the daily trials and adventures of teaching. In the summer, Dave expanded the garden and Lara experimented in the garden and started canning.
In 2021, Lara and Dave bought a used delivery truck. With Lara’s wild dreams and Dave’s skill and talent, they turned the box truck into a stunning mobile boutique.
In May of 2022, Lara retired from teaching to pursue her next adventure and lifelong dream of owning her own boutique.
We hope you will continue to follow along as the boutique and flower farm grow and develop over the coming years.
